Front axle vibration damper

I have a 1999 diesel P38 and have not got a vibration damper fitted to the front axle ( there is one on the rear ) so i saw on e advertised and ordered it
Now i have got it it wont fit without hitting the sump or the Propshaft UJs does anyone know if they were fitted to this model or has the wrong bracket been supplied?

There are two fitted to the Petrol models 4.6 for sure but only one fitted to the rear of a diesel P38.

And the reason is because it wont fit because the sump is in the way

Yeah i think so i also looked and thought my front one had dropped off but you physically cant fit one on the axle because like you say the sump it in the way.

Rear damper assembly is STC3105 front STC2789. But as Will says no mass damper fitted to the front on the diesel. At least mine doesn't have one.
