From Hastings

Hi Everyone,
Keen to learn if there is anyone in the forum who lives close to hastings east sussex who might possibily be restoring a series 90 or defender.

How do lad. I'm having a good go at mine and compared to Mexico am quite close to Sussex int that down souf somewhere?

fort everyone in hastings were a 90 (or older). cant see many er them bein up fer a re-build job on a Series!

I'm not a million miles away and I'm trying to get my 110 into some kind of reasonable condition

Nah, thats Eastbourne, hastings is full of chavs with metros!! hence lonely land rover!

Hi Ade,
Thanks for message, Glad I'm not the only one in the far south east trying to work on a land rover (most of the cars are beat up metros around here!!)
Mines 90 is a runner (sort of got problems with a over heating transfer box)
Spent alot on it to get it through MOT so hopefully I can start improving it!!
What conditions yours?

Yeah not too bad condition, the usual crispy bits around the bonnet hinges, a few leaks and the foot wells need replacing.

It's a 2.5 N/A so it'd be quicker to walk but I'm lovin' it!!

I think there's a handful of southern softies on here.

do you know if ne of them use a particular watering hole!! would be good to share the pain and get some ideas and try and figure were im going wrong!!

Hi not too far from you as we are at Hailsham. Used to be in Eastbourne and you are right they are all over 90!
