Hi there new to the forum
Bought set of roofrails for wife's 64 plate
Freelander 2 in October 22 from Lr trade parts
at selby on every corner alloy has oxidised and
paint all come off only fitted for athestic reasons
contacted them explained what's happened do not want to know assume all products got 12 mth warranty customer service very poor has anybody else had same response about failed
products from them they weren't Britpart surprisingly.

If they were under £200, they were cheap Chinese parts, which are known to be of very poor quality. Genuine are the best yo use, but are very expensive.

Yes your right think £170 ish but surely these companies should honour a12mth replacement policy they reckoned they had been chipped don't see how as never used and paint off on underside.
Another company won't be dealing with!!

The world as gone to the dogs unfortunately I now buy anything and if it breaks after 30days are genuinely surprised if you get any kind of services if it goes wrong

Bought a set of wheel nuts. OE it said. Orange with rust within a week. Complained and told that I need to paint them.

Rubber boots and bushes last 5 minutes or more accurately don't make it to next MOT.

Sad but true, nothing much works or delivers like it should any more.
End of whinge.....

I now only buy genuine or proven OE parts now, as aftermarket stuff simply doesn't last.
