freelander2 steering

hi to anyone that can help
since i had 2 new wishbones fitted last april the front steering has become very light even when pulling away it seems like it wants to take off every bump it wants to throw you in that direction tracking is fine & everything is tight underneath when i got these wishbones they were slightly smaller in length and the tracking had to come out quite a lot

You mean the wishbones were aren't locating the struts in the correct place? If this is the case, then the suspension geometry will be incorrect, which is why the steering feels different, and the vehicle won't handle correctly either.

You're best bet is to fit the correct wishbones.

Change them immediately you've changed the entire geometry of the steering I.e camber castor etc, try britpart....
It's dangerous to drive like that.
