Hss anybody else had difficulty connecting a clutch slave cylinder pipe to a master cylinder pipe on a freelander 1 td4? I've replaced my slave cylinder but can't get them connected.

What tool are you using to push the locking ring in? There’s a proper tool, but I used a screwdriver or a pair of needle-nose pliers.
They may not go together if there’s pressure/lack of give in the hydraulics. Is your clutch pedal all the way back up?

Im trying to put them together not apart, and yes clutch pedal is all the way back up. the part is from britpart so im guessing its a dodgy part.

In my experience, Britpart should be avoided at all costs.
