freelander XEDi 2.0

Hi all,I am looking at buying a freelander and have found one close to me,its on a 1999 plate with 131000 miles on the clock.it looks to be really clean and tidy but are there any problems I need to look out for,and who makes the 2.0 XEDi engine? is it a rover unit or supplied by some one else?
