I've recently been experiencing a problem with Freelander. It's 2005 2.0ltr Diesel TD4. The engine won't start when its warm and once it does start the EMs warning light comes on when it is revved above 2000 RPM. I tried changing Camshaft posion sensor but it has made no difference. Someone has suggested it may be exhaust emmission valve - is this possible?

Yes. have a look at ming's thread on EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valves. It is sticky in this section.
