freelander wheels

Got a 2003 freelander, want to get spare set of wheels to fit winter tyres on .
Anyone know if 15inch steel wheels off earlier models will fit,

I think the later wheels will fit the earlier Freelanders, but not the other way round. Open to correction on this though?

I thought that was true just for alloys, due to the offset. Steelies from an FL1 will fit any FL1 - happy to be corrected....
