Hello all.

new to this site as a member but have used info posted before.

I have a TD4 Freelander that i want to use for some off roading. Need to change the wafty road tyres to something better. I have a choice of Grabber AT's or Pirelli STR for the same money. I need to be able to do 80 miles a day on M ways for daily commute. Are these (a) the right choices and (b) preference on either.

Thanks

And your first question without an introduction is about tyres.

Grabbers any day, my dealer couldn't get any Grabbers as they were out of supply so I went for the Pirelli's. Big mistake! after 2 months one of them burst, not only that the noise when they were on the front was horrendous, they were a bit quieter on the back. Glad I didn't get four and still a bit concerned the other one I have on isn't going to let me down. Hpoe this helps you.
