On the inside of my mind.
My freelander seems to be using a lot of water. The head gasket was done before christmas ans it has been back since for a pressure test~but its still going through loads of water. Exhuast smoke seems a little white on start up but settles on warming. Any suggestions. Regards John Griff.

Get it back and get them to sort it. They've obviously done a poor job and or it's gone again. Or they haven't tightened a hose up properly and it's venting when hot and under pressure. You do not want to keep driving it and hoping it'll be ok. Because It won't be. Don't let the garage fob you off insist on been there when they do the tests, or take it to another garage and have them test it for you.

Nice one Red, it's being driven into the forecourt tomorrow and its stayin there till they sort it. Cheers. John.

Dunno what model you have but V6 can be prone to leaking between water and airways on inlet manifold gasket...gives exact symptoms you have...possibly the same on other models.
