On sunday i did i 75 mile round trip to get a matching set of 4 part worn Michelin Synchrone 215/65/16h. In the advert they were described as starting to crack and perish but i thought they would be ok for me for the short term.
By the time i got there it was dark and absolutely ****ing it down. Checked the 4 tyres for tread depth and for cracks, saw a few cracks but didnt think they were that bad. Well in the dark anyway
I went to get them put on today and now they have dryed out i can now see they have a few deeper cracks down to the cord. I have decieded that i should stop being such a tight arse and am going to buy 2 new ones.
So, after reading my life story i can now tell you i have 2 part worn Sychrones. I wouldnt advise using them on the road but its up to you but if anyone wants them they can take them. Both have about 3-4mm tread. Would be good if you just want one as a spare or you use your FL mostly on a farm or something
Free to take from the cambidge area. If you fancy buying me a pint i wouldnt say no though
