2 garages have looked at her they cant figure out the proplem 1 of the garages have replaced the diff and drive shaft still no cure
any body got any ideas

You dont say where you suspect the noise in eminating from.

CV joints at the front give out a noise which I would call clicking rather than a thud when thet are worn.

A thudding in the middle of the car would probably be a disbonded rubber mount supporting the bearings either side of the VCU. The VCU has to slip when the car turns. If it has a high resistance then this would load the bearings. Do a torque test, there have been plenty of threads on this lately.

Yes if it is a thud and not a clicking noise then i would check the vcu bearing mounts and the diff-mounts.

I get a banging thud sometimes when on full lock, it is under the centre of the car and my vcu bearing mounts look like they need replacing.
