Freelander td4 fuel trouble

My freelander only has only 1 bar off pressure out of the high pressure pump is this right or should it be higher thanks

i assume you mean low pressure pump? should be about 2.5 bar

The one in the tank is reading 1.2 bar

bit low guesing it wont run properley try disconnecting the low pressure switch by fuel filter if yours is early freelander if as new one the switch is on the fuel pipes on front passenger wheel arch

if car runs ok with switch disconnected you need new low pressure fuel pump dont run it for long with switch disconected as it is there to prevent high pressure pump from running dry
