freelander td4 2004 rear tailgate window

Rear window fault, window cable snapped, fitted second hand motor and cable with frame, worked when i tried in car before taken it out, fitted in my car still no joy replaced window switch in centre console , disconected battery to reset but still no joy , all im getting is a beep-beep sound coming from fuse box on driver side when operating window swich , anybody with any ideas would be great thanks
