Freelander TD4 04 Plate start issues

I recently had a transfer box and VC go on me and had new ones fitted, whilst in the garage for 2 weeks, battery went flat. They charged it and we took it home. couple of days later had problems starting it, would turn over but not fire, after a few attempts and reheating it would fire and then run fine, however after about only a hour would play up again. Checked battery voltage was 12.3v on the following morning. Glow plug light does light up and go out. Today it wont start at all just clicks when turned over.

Any ideas or suggestions, could it be just the battery is no good

If you can get your battery to a motor factor they'll check it free of charge,should be free anyway.

sounds awfully like a battery issue.
