freelander tailgate window

Today my tailgate window jammed up .

On removal of the trim i found one of cables had broke.

A few Questions

How do i remove the glass so i can gain access to remove the frame and cables,
Wheres the best place to buy the cable.

i have just replaced mine got one of e bay 125.00

The glass is calmped in with 2 bolts

Is that £125 just for the cable.

My window is jammed up. how do lower it so i can remove it.

It was just a bit fiddley .My son is a mancanic so he had lots of tools and .could reach and release the nuts.

I am just looking on e bay to see if there are any cheapers one

Late reply this, but I just had the same problem. Broken cable had wound itself into the motor casing like spaghetti. Window stuck in up position. Had to drill and cut a small hole in the inner skin over the position of the glass clamp bolt nearest the tailgate hinges. No other way to access this (now hidden) bolt. You can't do anything until you've got the glass out.
