Hi guys,

I have a Freelander TD4 with a broken sunroof. It is currently jammed in its raised position. I've had to cover it up with a bin liner over night.

I don't really care for a working sunroof. But obviously I want it closed. Is there an easy way to get it closed? When the switch is depressed, I can hear a noise but it does nothing.

Cheers

I fixed it. It turned out to be an issue with the lifting mechanism as opposed to an electrical issue. I just used a screwdriver to flip it back into the position which it's meant to be in, and then it closed.

All I need to do now is remove the fuse for it so that it can't happen again. I hate sunroofs!

Cheers again :)

Also worth either taping it or a bead of clear silicone to fully seal it.
