Freelander 1 Freelander steering rack removal

Hi all
I need to replace mine
Td4 02 plate
How do I do it please, never done one before

Basically unbolt the old one, and refit the replacement.
The most difficult part is getting at the bolt, otherwise it's easy.
Things to make sure though.
Make sure the steering wheel is straight before you start.
Make sure the replacement rack is exactly centered before you fit the column splines, or you'll end up with offset steering.

That should have been bolts.
There are 4 which hold the rack to the bulkhead, which can be challenging to get at, particularly on the TD4.
