Freelander Spot Lights

Hello guys!

I’ve now added another Land Rover to the fleet (see pics 2 and 3) and am looking for the extra spot lights as shown in pic 1.

***the LR (?) spotlights in the bumper that stick out, not the ones in the grille***

Searched high and low and cannot find!

Anyone got any ideas?

Those spots don't look like standard Freelander kit... If you want those specific ones you might have to Google lens them and try and find them online... Else it might be easier to find spots which are the right size and make up a way to fit them.

Quite likely the loom already has the wiring for front spots somewhere under the bonnet... If you trace back from the offside headlamps, you might find an unused plug coming from the same set of wires which is usually for front spots.

Sorry updated text - the spotlights in the bumper that stick out
 
I was going to say they look like the ones you often see on pre-facelift cars...

They aren't though as they do not have the moldings and the bumper angle is probably different.

I know the part number for those is in the Rave workshop manual because there is a section for the fitting instructions of accessories. I don't think Rave covers the facelift mods.

So ultimately, I'm of no help!

Thanks, yes they are the pre-facelift but very similar 👍🏻
 
Just trying to get my head around this as my freebie is pre facelift. The lights you want, are these actually spots or are they fog lights?

I can see you've currently got fog lights on your Freelander but they're in a different place. But then in the pic you've shared of the spots you want, there aren't any fog lights so just confused.

Did fog lights get incorporated into main head lamp at some stage?

No, the lamps in the painted part of the bumper are indeed fog lamps the ones in the pods were an optional accessory that fit on the black part of the bumper beside the fog lamps & below the headlamps, hope that clears it up:).
