freelander speakers

can anyone tell me on my freelander 1 hse f/l are the rear speakers just as loud as the front when when switched to rear only,you have to turn the volumme to max and still not that loud

Yes. All the speakers are driven by the same power, so all should sound just as loud. It's not uncommon for the for the speakers to fail, through water ingress to the door.

Both of my front speakers had been working fine while I had been doing various tweaks here and there, front, back, sides and underneath, plus under the bonnet....just as I’ve got her all back together, they pack up working. Sourced a full set from my local recycle yard, checked with a 9 volt battery and got two good ones out of the four but at a tenner the set, I was still happy. Fitted and all is well, annoying thing is that the two originals didn’t show any signs of rusting or decay.
