freelander refusing to start

Hi guys,I need your help,my 2003 freelander td4 was running fine until one day I ran out of fuel,I refilled and kick started,now there on it doesn't wanna key start but it's easy to kick start and still runs fine.What could be the possible cause.Thanks.

You need to bleed the fuel system I expect, but I am no expert..

When you say kick start, is it easy start you used? Sorry I'm a but confused what you mean

Kick start I mean push start,and how do you bleed the fuel system.

Do a spill test on the injectors I would say one of them has leak back so start their

Don't know about starting a Freelander, but might I suggest starting a fire in one?

check the cranking voltage, it may be the voltage drops below what is needed by the PCM.
perhaps cranking to purge the common rail has highlighted a problem with the starter
