Freelander Problems (moved from Discovery section)

joined to see ifthere are any other disappointed freelander owners out there mine is a 2.0dgs 5door auto 55000 miles year 2001.bought .second hand in 2003.a drive shaft bearing failed, a fuel pump failed and now the gear box has failed.3000euro for a replacement .land rover and dealer said this is very unusual but pay up and look happy.am i the only one .// help //

i too am a dissapointed freelander owner, having purchased veihicle just out of new car warranty, within 2months and 2000kms gearbox failure ,and according to dealer very very common,and looking now across the web this also confirms it,Land Rover head office will not assist financially because im not 1st owner,

they admit its a problem but second owners dont count,cheers good luck
