My recollection is (don't quote me though) no one really knows what the difference is apart from the lack of a damper but regardless don't trust it. Lots of people buy cars with no propshaft and no idea why it was removed. they then buy a used one and fit it and suddenly find out why it was removed in the first place when things go bang.
If it's not overly tight it'll be fine regardless what it came from but you can't trust it until you've tested it.
It will fit and work, but might cause some vibration at speed, but otherwise it should be ok.
Adds at least 10mpg I hear.I thought they were always removed for fuel economy purposes?
