Freelander lock barrel

Hi, does anyone know how to replace the tailgate lock barrel on my freelander 1? Thanks

Don't know. But to get to it you need to take off the inner tail gate plastic panel - 4 screws underneath at the bottom, and pull away at the bottom and angle off at the top - then remove the water cover membrain thing - peal off so you can refit later on - then undo the 3 nuts/bolts that hold on the door handle. The lock barrel is inside this.

There may not be a nut on yours, depending on age.

It may just be 2 little clips needing squeezed together to release
