I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a Freelander X - 99 2.5 V6 but am having some major issues
1. All the doors apart from the Drivers and rear door will no longer open with the central locking. They will lock but won't open, I can hear the motor click when trying but they just don't go.
2. Sun roof leaking, this I think is a straight forward new roof but wondered if anyone had any ideas.
3. The Decider !!!
I believe the inlet manifold is cracked / warped as there seems to be water getting in to the engine. When traveling between 40-50mph there is a rattling / buzzing - metallic sound coming from behind the passenger foot well. I have inquired and this is looking to be a expensive job - £400 for the new inlet plus labor. Wanted to get a little advice really. This is the K series engine similar to the MG Rover.
I love the Freelander but feel the time may have come to get rid. I would love a Disco but unfortunately the budget can't stretch right now.
Any advice would be appreciated
