Hi hope someone can help.
Another niggly problem with my freelander x reg-2000.

Managed to get the misfiring sorted, hubby changed injector on saturday, however it is slow to start.

This is an intermittent problem, was fine going to work this morning but coming home was the problem, slow to start off and still slow at 30, managed to kick in after that, trouble is pulling out at junctions:eek: not as fast as it should be and can be a danger,

Any ideas what it can be?
hopefully if we get this sorted that should be the end of the problems:rolleyes:
thanks

Hi female earthling. . . if hubby changed the injectors , the gaylander might have a slug of air in fuel , tell hubby to try bleeding the fuel system. . .un best oh luck :) :) :)

possibly you have a air flow sensor problem,( maf ),
its easy to change , better still get a rover ron box and a pieberg maf and you will have a totaly different car performance wise

HI, we have changed the air flow meter(cost us £128) and to be honest when we changed that before the injector the car didnt run any better,
Where will I get those other 2 things from mentioned above and are they costly? have spent a bit on the car at the moment.

thanks

Wendy. I have just purchased a RoverRon TUL but found out over the weekend that I will have to get rid of my Freelander due to another Child on the way. I was going to send it back to RoverRon as I have 30 day money back guarantee but I could sell it you. RoverRon charges £59 + £3P&P I'll sell it for £59 free postage?
