freelander hill decent

doesnt work. thats it really play with the lever and nthing happens no lights on dash ect when i turn ignition on i get the warning light that goes out

You need to be in first or revrse gear dont ya?

Leave it in neautral. Handbrake off. Get out and let it decend itself.

haha yea it doesnt work in first or reverse and i am thinking about letting it descend into a lake on its own but ive been told they float so i might fill it with concrete first and throw the wife in there to

yea might do if the lake is up hill

I assume its a manual, take the gear stick gator off and look at wiring, the wires normally break.
Very common problem.

Had the same prob with mine!

1hr fix now works fine.

Also check that the conections to the switch itself are ok as they sometimes fail.
I ended up getting a replacement from scrapyard and then rewiring.

sorted ive connected it now and the light comes on dash not tested it yet
