The heater fan on my daughter's Y reg 1.8S (no a/c) has just started to run
very slowly. It does respond to each of the different switch positions, but
all speeds are much slower than normal.

Does anyone knows if this is a common problem?

Browsing only found one reference to a "known switch problem" but I cannot
find any details.

Thanks.

Colin

Thanks Richard.

They were my thoughts too, but as nothing was immediately visible (whist
peering upside down under the dash in torrential rain), I was hoping that it
might have been the switch!

Judging by the lack of response it isn't a common problem, so it will be
"back to basics" the next time she returns home.
