Freelander doing my head in.

Hi all, wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I have a 2002 freelander td4. Commercial. I bought the vehicle as a non runner as would only fire with some easy start. Carried out leak off test. And replaced no. 1 injector. However. It will start first turn every time. But as soon as you demand throttle. The mil light comes on approx 3000 rpm. Then engine cuts out. As if relay or fuse pulled out. The car can be restarted strait away and mil light is off. It will repeat over and over and keep cutting out. Starting to lose patience with it now.
