Advice please, my 2014 Freelander has done 110k miles and the rear differential is starting to whine, should I have it reconditioned ASAP or is it ok to leave it until the whine becomes unbearable?

It'll go on for a bit, but be aware that the diff tail bearing can seize, causing the rear wheels to lock up. I know this for experience, and having the rear wheels lock at 50 MPH is really scary.
