Hi Guys,

Got an issue with a freelander 2001 1.8 pet clutch.

The clutch pedal has raised by 3" there is 3" of loose play and then it works fine but leaves the clutch sat up under the stearing wheel.

I have looked under the pedal and can seel all looks ok parts wise nothing fallen off but the piston has the metal bar showing now it has been pulled from the ram. Can you tell me do i need to replace the whole of the master cylinder and slave cylinder pistons joined by the tube or is the problem the clutch its self giving up and giving more play and thus the pedal raising?

It does drive fine though and clutch bite is in the right place and seem all ok operation wise.:confused::confused:
