Freelander clutch issues

Hi,
i need some advice,
i have a 1.8 k series freelander. it has always had a rather heavy clutch for the 6 years we have owned it. the fault. When cold, gear selection is very smooth. once she is warm gear selection is almost impossible. i have had several bits of advice ranging from new clutch required to air in the system. "HELP" love the car but getting expensive to maintain, thanks Paul

More than likely the clutch, but could also be the hydrolic system, both are a known problem with the gaylanders, if the clutch gets to heavy it will also brake the slave cylinder mounting bracket. Oh and :welcome2: would help if you said where you are some one could possibly help ya.
