Freelander brakes occasional problem!!!

Hey guys I wonder if any of you can shed any light on this? My 04 td4 occasionally has no brakes lιke there ιs no servo assist! Only at low revs, ιs ιt likely to be the brake servo or ιs there anything else I should look at? Do they have a vacuum pump?

Yes they have a vacum pump i would look for a lose or split pipe there are lots to look at i had a similar problem on mine look at the one that runs from the left side of the engine bay to the right.
It goes under the air filter and engine covers Thay can rub and split

try the one that goes over the gear box that is the favourite one to go, and they are 4mm pipes

Thanks guys!!' It was the pipe the that comes off the one way valve that runs off the main pipe along the bulkhead from the master cylinder, both ends shot to bits think ιt was just the vacuum keeping them on lol
