After changing the oil in a 52 plate Land Rover Freelander 1 day later it
now has no reverse gear (It moves but only just) but all forward gears are
functioning correctly can you shed any light.

Re-check autobox oil level.

Don't know your 'box, but there is a procedure for checking. On a
rangie it is something like "check in neutral after having
sequentially selected all the gears (inc reverse)." (this probably
wrong, but just an example).

Your manual will advise.

select reverse. I mention this just in case someone saw a switch that
was not fully tightened and helpfully tightened it. A long shot though.

Hi

Which oil did you use. Landrover or over the counter ATF?
