hello all, badboy1. here from newcastle how are you all doing. im new to your site and to landrovers
can anyone help with a problem i have with a freelander2.5 v6 with auto box. when the car changes up a gear or down it jerks as though the brakes were been put on ive nearly had to tape a car sponge to the steering wheel to stop my head hitting the wheel i tell passengers that they all do this please help

is this an easy job, does the box have to come out,were abouts are the solenoids on the box any help would be great. im used to working on audis and vauxhalls thanks for your help
 
I have the same problem and Landrover are saying I need to replace the gearbox! Did you manage to fix this?
