Hi guys,

A friend of mine in South Africa is having problems with his 2010 Freelander and would like to change it to a 4X2 as he only does road miles in the truck.

Am I right in saying you remove the rear drive shafts / Prop shaft?

I have heard that there is some sort of blanking plate that you need as well for the transfer box??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Loz

You'll have an issue as the rear diff ecu is on the CANBUS and the car is expecting it to be active and have no faults for the rest of the car to work properly

By removing rear diff etc then this isn't true

What problems are they experiencing?
