Hello :) Anyone out these with a stone/cream coloured 3 door parcel shelf/ boot load cover, in good condition, that they want to sell? I am prepared to pay up to £50 inc P & P. If so, please send me a private message. Thanks

I have tried Ebay under various searches but there are none currently of note:rolleyes:

Any other suggestions as to where where i'd find a cheap one, please reply on this thread.

Thanks for the reply, Andy. I did see the batch you mentioned on Ebay . . they have since increased their price to £205!!! For that price, i will continue to cover my boot contents with a beach towel! I'll just sit and hope that some good folk on this site comes up trumps for me!;)

Holla!!! Ive got an LPG tank in mine, but enough clearance for the boot cover. I think they look so much neater with the covers on top. How can Land Rover be so cheap when producing these Freelanders to exclude a load cover? These manufacturers never cease to amaze and it is constantly for a negative reason!

They are simply following the crowd as car manufacturers tend to with most things. Most manufacturers don't include load covers as standard (or even as options in some cases) on their 3 door 4x4s.

Cheers

Yeah.. I bought one of these. Does what it says on the tin. Well manufactured. Price is a touch steep but I suppose it depends on how 'bad' you want one :)

I got on of those in black. It is not an original part but well made. I don't understand why it has cup holders. The price has gone up now I got mine a few years ago for £99.

Mine had one of those ebay ones fitted, which was a bonus. It's good enough quality and stays up nicely against the edges of the hardback when lifted for access.

Hi,
What about finding someone with a 5 door to see if the boot side panels will fit in a 3 door. Then if they look like they would fit you could get a set from a breaker and then get the roller blind type load cover as fitted to 5 door. Guess LR did not fit the roller blind type on the 3 door as it would offer no security with the roof off ??

The OP hasn't been on LZ since May 2008...
