Hi any help please recently bought a freelander td4 the in tank fuel pump went so I replaced it with a new 1 it lasted a week now it won't start again can't hear the pump rac came out an said it was the fuse box so I replaced that still wouldn't start the battery went dead so I put jump leads on an it started give it a good run an half hour later it wouldn't start so I went an got new battery an still won't start
 
Have you checked the fuel pump fuse and relay? Also make sure the impact sensor hasn't got triggered.
 
Checked everything an all seams to be ok when I put 12v straight to the pump it's works ok after a few minuits i can take it off an it will work on its own

So the engine runs if you power the pumps from another power source?
 
So you need to trace the power problem to the Low Pressure fuel pumps. It's been known for there to be a fault internally in the fuse box, so you could check that.

As a temporary measure, maybe you could supply the LP pumps with an ignition feed from another power source?
