Freelander 1 Freelander 2003 Td4 Type number

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me.

I have a 2003 Td4 Kalahari Freelander and I'm trying to register it in France.

Unfortunately the V5 doesn't have anything written in the Type section (D.2), and I need this in order to register it. I have a certificate of conformity but it's got the same part missing!

Would someone else who has the same model let me know whats written on their V5?

The V5 is as follows:

D.2 Type
Variant *BE
Version 027

It's just the "Type" part that's missing.

I tried speaking with landrover UK but they said they don't have that information for vehicles of that age.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also does anyone know what Kalahari equates to? Wikipedia lists available options as "E, S, SE, HSE, Sport and Sport Premium"

The FL1 model designation was an L314. If that's what you are wanting to know?

The Kalahari was a based on an S or ES I think. I can't remember which it was now.

I'm not entirely sure what is needed. Is that what's written on your V5 in the D.2 section, above the entries for variant and version?

That's pretty much exactly what mine shows, so I'm not sure what's missing and why they won't register it.

Does anyone else have a Td4 V5 for comparison?

In section K mine is mostly the same except that the last number is 13 and not 12.
In section P2 my max power is 82.

In section D2 I have BE as variant and 047 as Version.

My TD 4 full title is 'Freelander Adventurer TD'

It looks like mine is fine then, all the data they should need is there already. Maybe I'll go back on another day and see if I get another person at the desk!
