Hi all, I am having a small problem. My freelander won't start when I have been on a run, but this only happens every now and again. Last time it happen I sat there for an hour waiting for the AA and when they turned up it started straight away,, I just wish it would stop and then I would have a clue on what to do. Cheers dave.

Thats a strange introduction:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Introduce yourself in the proper section mate, otherwise it upsets the natives, then ask them nice gents in the Gaylander section, you never know there may be someone sober/sensible knocking about in there;););););)

Thanks for the replies, my next job is to purchase a camshaft sensor. Yes oxonlandy just that after a run I park up for a short time and then it will not start. I will let you all know if this sensor does the trick. Cheers dave.

does it crank over or is it just dead?

Yeah, she turns over really well. When it dosent start i leave it for half an hour then she fires up like a brand new engine. Cheers dave.

Wow, 5 replies to a Freelander newbie and not one mention of scrap yards, burnings or doors falling off.
Could it be the grown-ups are mellowing?
