Freelander 2 (LR2) Freelander 2 Radiator cooling fans

Anyone got a wiring diagram for the radiator cooling fans please?

It's not just simple wiring, as the fans are under ECU control, via a PWM signal.

That confirms pretty much what I thought. I had a new thermostat and ECT sensor fitted a couple of weeks back after I had an overheating problem and thought that was fixed as the thermostat was knackered. But air con was blowing warm air today at standstill but ok while moving so thought it worth checking further.

The ECU should send a 100 hz PWM signal to the fan control module to turn the fans on. I was just trying to simulate that but didn’t want to cause any damage..

Think it’s the same as the ford system so this should shed some light?

Has the cooling system been bled correctly? It sounds like there could be air trapped in the heater matrix, if it only blows hot when the engine revs climb.

I assume it was bled correctly. Done by a Landrover dealer but that’s no guarantee I suppose. Will look into that one.
Am I right in thinking the fans should always come on with the AC because they are not?
