Freelander 2 noise

Not a big deal but something is making a loud ticking noise like a clock behind the dash of my 57 plate FL2. It seems to be behind the start button or the thing that pulls the fob in. Just a tad anoying. Any one had this ?

It could be a relay I would take off the binical and look

I think I read somewhere that the key fob mechanism in the dashboard has been known to give trouble, might be worth making some checks

Yes seen that,thanks. It's the only thing that comes up. No probs with sticking fob just the ticking, hasn't done it today but there's always tomorrow . Thinking of going back to a disco 2, a bit more familiar. Seen a mint x plate but a lot of them are 4k to 5k.
