Hi all

totally new here so please excuse the novice post

My partner bought a 58 plate Freelander 2 about 6 months ago, very tidy, ran great for six months then decided to die on her way home, resulting in a 7 hour..yes 7 hours recovery time with RAC!

We got teh beast towed to a freinds garage, but he is not a landy specialist, and has said hes too busy to do it

so, I am a bit stuck

there are several codes - all looking like sensors which you chaps propably know about

Ive also done a little youtubing, where it was a wiring loom damaged?

It has been great so far, then cut out on her and spewed forth lots if different engine warning lights

here is the RAC list of codes shown:

P0100
P1402
P0335
P0336
P0030
P02E7

many thanks in advance for any suggestions which I look for a local guy who knows about these cars

The engine is a Peugeot DW12, so doesn't need to be an LR specialist, it's just a modern common rail diesel (I'm assuming it is a diesel?).

The code are only partially helpful, as there's on a partial code with just 4 digits.
My signature has a link to the full LR code list.

However when lots codes are generated simultaneously, it is often down to a data bus fault, as the information between the various modules (there are around 20 in the FL2), get garbled or is missing, which then generates loads of codes.

Hi many thanks for that, ok great, my hunch is that its a damaged loom which would fall in with what you suggest, thank you!

P0030 is for the O2 sensor.
P0100 is for the MAF sensor.
P0335 and P0336 are both for the crankshaft position sensor.
P02E7 is the throttle butterfly position sensor.
P01402 is the EGR valve position sensor.

There seems to a pattern here.
It appears all these items are powered by a single relay.
It's relay 2 item No49 in Battery Junction Box illumination below.

I'd be testing this relay first.
