Freelander 2 cuts out

Hi I’m new on here we have an 07 Freelander 2 & on Boxing Day it cut out while driving & wouldn’t start so looked under bonnet to see anything loose but nothing to see, disconnected the plug on the MAP sensor on front of the engine & plugged back in again then it started, carried on home then it cut out after 10mins repeated the unplug & plug then it ran again don’t want to risk driving until I know what the problem is , does anyone know what this could b thanks

Welcome to the forum, if no warning lights on the dash then you need to see what error codes are flagged up by plugging your car into a diagnostic unit, or plug an OBD2 code reader into your car and come back here with the codes or it could be a whole lot of things like simply a flat battery and/or an alternator problem. Grammar helps as well.
