Hi, I’m new to the forum and wonder if anyone could help me out, I’ve recently changed the the battery on my 2014 Freelander, but since changing it I’ve got a problem with the eco stop start system, when I first put the ignition on I’ve got a warning light on the dash to say (eco system fault), the light on the eco switch itself doesn’t light up, and the stop/ start doesn’t function! Anyone got any experience of this, and is there an easy fix?

The smart charging system needs recalibration, which needs a diagnostic tool to do.
Unfortunately stop/start systems aren't so easy to do simple stuff on, like changing the battery.

If you drive it as normal it should realise/learn the battery is newer than before, and sort itself out, after a number of natural drive cycles.
