My headlights remain on in bright sunlight - new problem with 4 year old vehicle. Does anyone know where the sensor can be found ? is this a common problem - i.e. they usually have a short life span

do they stay on if you switch them off manually?????

No - Ican turn them off manually it seems to be just the auto function that is not working
