Freelander 2 - 57 plate

Pls I have found oil residue on coolant cap and coolant expansion tank. Vehicle is running extremely well, no misfiring , no loss of water, no lack of power, no problem starting, no oil/emulsion showing on dipstick or at engine oil filling in rocker cover. Nothing to suggest to me that it is a leaking headgasket. Al there is no oil leak anwhere to be seen and no oil drops in my drive.

Oil in coolant is the first sign of HG trouble it can take a while for the other symptoms to show, depending on your average mileage and driving style.
