Recently developed some vibration through steering wheel and drivers seat at around 1500 rpm up or down the box.All good otherwise at all rpm and speeds .
Found some movement on drivers side drive shaft about 4 mm in and out.
Anyone had experience of replacing this shaft or able to comment on problem
Thanks
Dave

Drive shaft issues are based on road speed, not engine speed.
It's actually quite common for the FL2 to develop a vibration at lower engine speeds. Mine also has what I describe as a resonance at about 1500 RPM under certain loads. I believe it's due to an interaction between slight backlash of the gears of the balancer shafts and crankshaft, being amplified to a resistance in the exhaust system.

I've yet to prove it, but as I seldom drive with the engine at 1500 RPM, I'm in no hurry to solve it, especially as mine has more pressing issues to fix first.
