Hi All,

My key/fob has recently started to get stuck in the dock, it will not eject. I have to push/pull and tug it out but doing this makes the car think it is still in the dock so I can press the engine start/stop button, turn the display etc on but not start the engine, at the same time cannot set the alarm.
This seems to be intermittent so far.
I've had the car battery checked and all is fine there.

Any ideas?

I am reading people solved this problem by just changing the car battery, that kind of makes sense after seeing how the car energy ecosystem works... please let me know how did you solve this in your case?

Try powering the battery with a charger to increase the volts. This will mimic a betterer charged battery. Like a new battery being fitted and the key releases.
