Hi all,

I've owned my FL2 for 8 months now and it's due an oil change and various other bits. One thing I'm for some reason struggling with is what oil to use?

Reading the manual it states I should use oil that meets the rating WSS-M2C934-B or if I can't find that, ACEA C2. For some reason I just can't find any Castrol oil other than Castrol Professional (That seems to only be available to dealers, or at a premium on ebay) that meet the WSS-M2C934-B standard. I found Mobil Super 3000 Formula 5W-30 which meets the specs, but trying to get hold of that seems easier said than done.

If I use services like Halfords for recommending me the correct oil, none of the suggestions seem to list those specs.

What oil do you recommend that I use that's easily available? I've read the FL2 can be quite sensitive to the oil used, so just trying to get things right.

I have the Freelander 2.2 SD4 2014 with DPF.

Thanks in advance.
